Galina N. Timchenko,
PhD, Associate Professor.

She has been working at the Department of Applied Mathematics since 2002.
She has more than 40 scientific articles.

Scientific interests:
• Dynamics of multilayer shallow shells;
• Theory of R-functions.

Education: 1997-graduate from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the field “Mathematics”, qualification : teacher of mathematics and computer science,
2006 – completed the post-graduated at the department of Applied Mathematics National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”,
2008-defended PhD thesis on “Linear and geometrically nonlinear vibrations laminated plates and shallow shells with complex form”.

Career:
1997-lecturer of Kharkov University Lyceum;
2002 -Assistant of Applied Mathematics Department;
2009- Senior Lecturer, Department of Applied Mathematics;
2011- Associate Professor, Department of Applied Mathematics.

Academic degree: 2009- Ph.D. in specialty 01.02.04 – Mechanics of Solids;
Title: 2013г. – Associate Professor, Department of Applied Mathematics.
