According to the results of testing you will be positioned in a specialized group.
The entire training undergoes in English, including the disciplines of the humanitarian set of subjects and fundamental vocational training.
Preparation and defense of course and diploma projects are also held in English, in the presence of competent specialists, including specialists from the IT industry.

To understand the training process in English from the inside better, we offer you a comment by one of the lecturers of the department – Associate Professor T.V. Zakharova, who held several courses in English-speaking groups, and currently works as a business analyst in one of the European IT companies in Berlin:

“All curriculum disciplines are taught in English. The groups are mixed: there are both Ukrainian and foreign students, which in turn is an advantage for Ukrainian students, since they have to communicate within the group in English.
At the beginning of the lectures, I give definitions of some terms, a certain glossary with explanations, so that when students perceive the material, they are already familiar with terminology. Some materials (schemes, for example) can be given as handouts. At the beginning of the lecture I make an introduction that allows students to recall the previous material and understand the relation of the previous topic to the current one.
In the process of lecturing, sometimes you have to write some words on a blackboard, or pronounce them by letter. If the lecture is supported by a presentation, then it is necessary to use color fonts, pictures, examples to improve the perception of the material.
During the lecture or practical classes, contact with the audience is constantly maintained, I engage students in an active process with the help of questions. Answers to questions are a kind of “litmus test”, which allows you to understand how well students perceive and understand the presented material.
At the end of the lecture, I always give a summary, that is the main points that were considered.
I give time for discussion.
The use of media and constant contact with the audience is an axiom, especially when learning in English.
In August 2015 I completed the Academic Teaching Excellence course, developed on the basis of the British Council’s CiVELT course, as part of the English for Universities project and received a certificate of successful completion of the course.
This course was devoted to both new teaching methodologies and linguistic matters in the case of using English as a tool.”
Thus, training in English is carried out taking into account modern pedagogical techniques and provides great opportunities for the development of specialists and their career growth in IT companies.
