The Department of innovative entrepreneurship and international economic relations was established in 1950 as the Department of “Economics and organization of production.” Peter Appolonovych Levytskyy Ph.D. headed the department to 1975. From 1975 to 1976 the department was headed by Vakshul Mykola Illich. Since 1977, the department was headed by prof. Matrosov Olexander Dmytrovych, before 1997 and until today is deputy head of the department, during his work department moved into a new building, and in 1995, the Department received the status of graduating and released the first graduation of students in ” Production Management ” specialization ” Management staff. ”
In 1997 the department was headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Ph.D. Petro Grygorovych Pererva.
In 1997, the department opened and graduated a set of students of the speciality “Management, Marketing and Legal Protection of Intellectual Property” of the same speciality. In 1998, at the Department for the first time in Ukraine opened training in the speciality “Intellectual Property”, in 1999, made the first set of students.
In the speciality departments, more than 500 people , including more than 350 students on a contract basis. In 1999 the chair was taken 165 people.
Highly qualified teachers of the department , including 6 professors and 12 associate professors read special courses: “Introduction to personnel management”, “Human Resource Management and Sociology management”, “Management employment”, “The Psychology of Control”, “Planning and organization of work of the staff”, “Conflictology”, “Introduction to Intellectual Property”, “Economics of Intellectual Property”, “Innovation management”, “Pricing and value of intellectual property rights”, “Marketing of Intellectual Property”, “Patent – tactical research”.
The department teaches: “Production”, ” Industrial Economics”, “Human resource management”, “Labor Economics”, “Planning”, “Marketing”, and others.
Students of various disciplines in 13 faculties of the National Technical University ” Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” , which is 2800 people per year.
The Department trains students on the basis of full-time and distance learning.
International relations department effectively influence the quality of training, can improve inhabitation and learning, enrich the learning process achievements of foreign scientists.
Quality training at the Faculty of Economics of NTU ” KPI ” is largely due to the wide international relations department: close friendships are at the faculty of universities and colleges in Germany, France, USA, Belgium, UK, India, China, Greece, Austria and others. Countries to help teachers implement the faculty in the educational process of modern educational technology training highly qualified specialists in marketing, management, finance, foreign trade business, intellectual property.
Under the guidance of prof. P.G. Pererva with scientists from Germany, Austria and France performed research topic “The restructuring and privatization of industry in Ukraine” funded by INTAS. Also funded by the theme of science and technology of Ukraine .
Grant Tempus Project Europeen Commun CD JEP 23125 – 2002 , was won in 2002. Partners NTU “KPI” on the project began five major European University Pierre Mendes France (Grenoble, France), Savonyya Polytechnic ( Kuopyo, Finland), Liege University (Liege, Belgium), Pompu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain), France Comte (Besancon, France), and two Ukrainian Universities Donetsk National Polytechnic University and Eastern National University of V. Dal (Luhansk).
Employees of the Department annually publish 30-40 scientific works in the collections of scientific works, scientific and analytical journals.
As a result of the research activities of the university every year since 1975. Department generates materials in the Bulletin of works “Technological progress and efficiency”.
