A Message to Our Alumni and Friends of Kharkiv Polytechnic
The Department of Biotechnology, Biophysics and Analytical Chemistry trains highly qualified specialists for work in the most advanced fields of biotechnology, including pharmaceutical biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, immunobiotechnology, genetic engineering biotechnology, microbial synthesis of biologically active compounds, bioenergy, waste biodestruction, pollution biotesting, and engineering support of biotechnological and pharmaceutical production.
Our graduates are capable of developing and implementing cutting-edge technological processes and designing equipment for biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries. They are also well-equipped to carry out scientifically sound environmental monitoring and protection against technogenic impacts, as well as to model biotechnological processes in order to determine optimal conditions for biosynthesis, pollutant biodestruction, and ecosystem restoration. This is achieved through the broad application of modern mathematical methods and computer technologies.
Our alumni hold leadership and engineering positions at enterprises in the microbiological, pharmaceutical, and food industries, as well as in design and engineering organizations, environmental institutions, and research institutes across Ukraine
