At KhPI, a solemn online ceremony was held to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between Kharkiv Polytechnic and one of the leading companies in the field of pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing — Singhania Tableting (India). The five-year agreement was signed by NTU “KhPI” Rector, Professor Yevhen Sokol, and the owner of the Indian company, Amit Singhania.
The Memorandum lays the foundation for the implementation of joint research projects, internships and practical training for students, exchange of experience between Ukrainian and Indian specialists, as well as the development of innovative solutions.

We are convinced that only through close partnership with manufacturing companies and leading global players can we ensure high-quality training of specialists who are able to meet modern demands and contribute to the development of the industries of the future. This Memorandum is not just a formal document, but a symbol of trust, mutual understanding, and a commitment to joint development,” said NTU “KhPI” Rector Yevhen Sokol in his welcoming address.
According to the Memorandum, cooperation with such a leading group of companies as Singhania Tableting opens unique opportunities for NTU “KhPI” students and researchers: internships and practical training on state-of-the-art equipment that meets the highest international standards; participation in joint scientific research, the results of which may form the basis of innovative technologies; exchange of experience and knowledge between Ukrainian and Indian specialists; the formation of an intercultural scientific community; and the development of innovative solutions.
The mutually beneficial cooperation of the partners is aimed at enhancing educational, scientific, and innovative activities. It envisions measures to support academic mobility for participants in the educational process and to organize their practical training. NTU “KhPI” students and faculty members gain opportunities to undergo internships and practical training on Singhania Tableting’s modern equipment that meets international standards; to develop and implement joint research and innovation projects in the fields of industrial pharmacy, chemical technologies, mechanical engineering, and IT; and to exchange experience with Indian experts.
In turn, Singhania Tableting gains access to the Ukrainian and European markets through academic partnership; access to the scientific potential of Ukrainian researchers and the ability to test its developments in a real academic environment; opportunities to conduct training activities and scientific research at NTU “KhPI”; as well as internships for its own employees within Kharkiv Polytechnic programs.
