Within the framework of Ukraine Calling. Cross-Sectoral Capacity Building there will be three public events are planned. They will take place in English and online.

Panel Discussion: Beyond Sectorality? Cross-Sector Cooperation Between Academia, the City and Civil Society
Terms like cross-sectoral cooperation, public engagement and social responsibility are on everyone’s lips. How can they be translated into practice in local contexts? What are the success criteria for joint projects between universities, civil society, the city and its citizens? This will be discussed by:
- Prof. Dr. hab. Mariusz Czepczyński, Cultural Geographer, Department of Spatial Planning at the University of Gdańsk, Poland.
- Constance Krüger, cultural coordinator at the European University Viadrina
- Katja Rusetska, Project Manager NGO Kultura Medialna from Dnipro, Ukraine
- Dr. Marieke de Wal, expert on cross-sector partnerships at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, The Netherlands

International Cross-Sector Networking Event: How to imagine a city that belongs to its citizens?
How to make local cultural infrastructure inclusive and accessible to different groups of people, especially the vulnerable? How can local challenges be addressed from a transnational perspective? Actors from civil society, public administration, the cultural sector and academia from Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, France and Poland will exchange views on these and other topics.

Live DJane Sets and Discussion: Beyond Dancing. Electronic Music and Urban Movements in Ukraine
Together with two representatives, Anna Khvyl and Sasha Dolgiy of electronic music from Kyiv, not only two live sets will be heard, but also current social issues and active citizenship of the young generation in Ukraine will be discussed. The event will be moderated by Masha Kashyna, Ukraine Calling alumna and musician herself.
