GERMAN WEEKS IN UKRAINE: 30 Years of German-Ukrainian Relations
“German Weeks in Ukraine” take place from October 3 to 23 this year.
“German Weeks in Ukraine” is a wide range of events that present to the public across the country a huge variety of culture, education, science, community service and economics. First organized in 2013 and held annually.
“30 years of German-Ukrainian relations side-by-side” – Under this slogan, on October 3, the Day of German Unity, the Weeks of Germany in Ukraine 2021 have been started. They open the 30th anniversary of relations between independent Ukraine and reunited Germany.
This time the goal is to answer the following questions: What do we do best together? What have we achieved together? What new challenges do we face? How are we similar and how are we different?
Let’s discuss this together, learn more about each other and about examples of our successful cooperation.
Many Ukrainian partners and a number of German organizations joined the organization: GIZ, Goethe-Institut, DAAD, ifa, dvv international, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine, the Hans Seidel Foundation in Ukraine and the Free State Office of Bavaria in Ukraine.
