The Department of “Electrical Insulation and Cable Engineering” is unique in Ukraine. We train specialists who are in demand throughout the electric power industry – from electricity generation to transmission and consumption. Graduates work as electrical engineers, technologists, laboratory heads at enterprises in Ukraine and abroad, as well as hold positions of production directors and Cabinet of Ministers committees! Highly qualified professors, associate professors, doctors, and candidates of technical sciences are responsible for your training!

After completing the testing:

Register an APPLICANT ACCOUNT.

Submit an electronic application to NTU “KhPI” for specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics”.

FOR MASTER’S DEGREE APPLICANTS

Successfully pass the EVI! To do this, you need to register with our admissions committee at the EEE Institute. The timeframe is limited – from May 7 to 18:00 on May 29, 2024! So here’s a little hint.(for admission to graduate school, EVI is also required, and the procedure is the same)

After completing the testing:

Register an APPLICANT ACCOUNT (based on higher education).

Successfully pass the professional exam in specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics” at NTU “KhPI”.

Submit an electronic application to NTU “KhPI” for specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics”.

Write a motivation letter, indicating that you want to join us specifically and why (here’s a template for you).

And if something is not entirely clear, NTU “KhPI” has created in-person consultation centers at the admissions committees to provide assistance to applicants when submitting applications electronically.
Applicants can contact one of three in-person consultation centers to create an electronic account and submit applications electronically:
– Kharkiv, NTU “KhPI”, at the address: 2 Kyrpychova Street;
– Poltava, at “Poltava Polytechnic Professional College. NTU “KhPI”, at the address: 83a Yuliana Matviichuka Street;
– Chernivtsi, at the Chernivtsi Faculty of NTU “KhPI”, at the address: 203 Holovna Street.

We will also accept documents in person abroad, particularly in Germany, at the following address:
