The Department of Electrical Machines teaches students at the educational and qualification levels of bachelor and master in specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics” in the educational program “Electromechanics” profiled package of disciplines “Electrical Machines”.
In the second year the educational process the specialization’ subjects begin. In addition, from the second year students have the right to choose disciplines with in-depth study of the calculation and design of electrical machines or technology of the production of electrical machines.
Bachelor’s training lasts 4 years. The preparation of the master’s degree lasts 1 year and 4 months and 1 year and 9 months of research.
The path from “Dedication to Students” to a master’s degree
The transformation of an entrant into a student is carried out at the solemn event “Dedication to students” of NTU “KhPI”.
In 2019, the Faculty of Electrical Machine Building was included in the extensive list of specialties and educational programs under the existing name “Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy, Electronics and Electromechanics” (IEEE).
