From May 19 to May 23, 2025, the Department of Electric Transport and Diesel Locomotive Engineering took part in NTU “KhPI” events in the city of Chernivtsi. During this period, we organized a variety of engaging activities with lyceum students—Kahoot quizzes, quests, STEM workshops—and culminated with the STEM Festival “Engineering of the Future” at the Chernivtsi Regional Youth Center “Yunist Bukovyny,” attended by over 400 students from across the Chernivtsi region.
The venue was divided into STEM zones where KhPI program representatives invited everyone to explore engineering specialties. Students themselves participated in hands-on scientific experiments and conducted simple demonstrations. They also joined a series of Kahoot quizzes in four areas: Applied Mechanics and Materials, Power Engineering, Electromechanics, Robotics, Transport, and Engineering Safety.
The department extends its gratitude to the administrations of schools and lyceums in Chernivtsi and the Chernivtsi region for organizing these events. Special thanks go to the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration for supporting the festival initiative.
