On October 29, 2024, the Department of Electrical Transport and Locomotive Engineering organized the quiz “Progress on Rails: From Dream to Action” as part of the “Autumn Holidays with Polytech” program. The event aimed to promote the “Railway Transport” specialty and introduce future applicants to the department’s educational programs.

Participants embarked on an exciting journey through the history of railway transport, exploring its present state and future prospects. The quiz covered various topics, including railway infrastructure, rolling stock, and innovative technologies already implemented or in development.

The quiz attracted both teenagers aged 12 and older, as well as adults, demonstrating a broad interest in railway transport. More than 60 players took part, with Maksym Panskyi from Poltava, a student at the Poltava Vocational Transport Lyceum, emerging as the winner. He received a special prize from the department.
