During their studies, many students simultaneously receive a second higher education, and also have the opportunity to receive a second higher education abroad (details on the website of the Interdisciplinary Institute of Postgraduate Education – http://www.mipk.kharkiv.edu/ ). The students of the department have the opportunity to practice in European countries.

Students of the department annually receive awards at the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads. Our students’ diplomas win prizes in the diploma competition. Students can publish the results of their research papers in the open press, submit reports at international scientific and technical conferences and other forums, take part in sports competitions and amateur art activities.
The teachers of the department organize excursions to hydroelectric power stations, drilling and compressor stations for students of all specialties.
