Mykolayiv State Agrarian University (NNAU) — a leading higher education institution in the south of Ukraine. NNAU has significant scientific potential, which ensures the implementation of effective investigations to date. NNAU has more than 2,700 hectares of agricultural land, a modern fleet of agricultural machinery, grain storage infrastructure, as well as a powerful scientific potential. NNAU has close ties with the leading producers of Ukraine and the Southern region of the country, which ensures the supply of cereals, vegetables, melons, elite varieties of seeds — in order to increase productivity, agriculture and provide food for the population, as well as feed livestock farms.
International experience: in 2013 scientists NNAU developed an innovative project of modern irrigation for the cultivation of hybrid maize seeds on the area of 277 hectares. The project has attracted interest from a large American company «Monsanto», which has invested in it more than $ 1 million. In 2014-2015 NNAU contracts for variety trials with companies from France, Italy, Spain, the USA, Israel, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Japan, such as: CLAUSE, BAYER, NUNHEMS, Nickerson-Zwaan, Agri Saaten, SAKATA, Enza Zaden, ESASEM, Bejo, Tazier, KR, FS, Hazera Genetics, Seminis, Singenta testing more than 100 varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops, sorghum, wheat, sunflower with the latest technology.
NNAU can prepare highly qualified workforce in the field of agriculture (including — operators of industrial plants pig), experts owning modern knowledge of domestic and international developments in the agricultural sector and directly in pig production. Education professionals working specialties in NNAU industrial pig will be 2,000 euros for 60 days, which is lower than an order of magnitude than in the EU.
NNAU can improve the skills of professionals of the livestock industry, agribusiness professionals and academics. NNAU for the commercialization of research results can provide an organization for research and development in the sector of animal husbandry, crop production, processing of agricultural products.
The main purpose of the construction and operation of «Educational, scientific and industrial pig Mykolayiv State Agrarian University» — a software company to increase the production of ultra-modern high-quality practical training of students of the South and other regions, retraining and professional development of the livestock industry and academics, deepen research breeding the work of scientists. Provision of quality breeding young growth of large, medium and small enterprises, not only the region but also the whole country, as well as producing high quality environmentally friendly food.
Social impact of the project is: to provide an efficient and secure jobs, better housing, and cultural and living conditions of workers.
Among the key performance indicators should be noted that the implementation of this investment project solves its four components: educational, scientific, industrial and social.
For the public call: Mykolayiv State Agrarian University would be glad to cooperate as a participant of the project «Educational Research and Production pig Mykolayiv State Agrarian University» and ensure the implementation of this project, which has no analogues in Ukraine, in two stages. Within the framework of the implementation of the first stage involves the construction and equipment of an office building with classrooms, science labs; Complex facilities for the cultivation of 3,900 pigs per year, expandable to 10,000 heads, which will include: a housing for containing the reproductive stage (210 sows) to pigs (suckling and rearing); Case for the content of fattening calves and breeding, slaughter and processing point of the lagoon for storage of manure, auxiliary facilities and necessary infrastructure.
The second phase of the project includes the completion of a given territory six production facilities and five lagoons of manure storage combined with biogas plant and the necessary infrastructure to meet the requirements for the implementation of such projects.
However, if the prospective partners see other potentially viable technology, we are fully open to alternative schemes relevant to our field of activity and above this call.
Partner NNAU proposal includes a package developed design estimates for the amount of $ 37,500, which passed the state examination, worth $ 6,900; Dedicated land for construction (97.78 hectares, including 66.37 hectares — a pig); positive opinion from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (from 12.07.2013 city, №11-2013), the Institute for pig breeding and agricultural production NAAS of Ukraine (from 12.07.2013 city, №113 / 336); It supports the idea of a complex from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Description of desired cooperation: We are looking for partners and / or the project coordinator, who have experience and knowledge in the management of the project consortia and prepare proposals. Partners must be prepared to develop new technologies in the development of educational and scientific-industrial pig farm, which in future will be a prerequisite for the construction and operation of the agro-parks, which also includes a cattle farm, a biogas plant, a laboratory of molecular genetic research and biotechnology, mini-plants processing of meat and milk, greenhouse complex.
