Scientific-and-practical journal and Conference «ІТЕ»
Every year, at the initiative of the ITPA department, a large international scientific and practical conference “Integrated Technologies and Energy Saving” is held at NTU “KhPI” and online.
Reports, formatted as articles, are published in the journal ITE (“Integrated Technologies and Energy Saving”), which is included in the list of scientific professional publications of the State Committee for Education and Science of Ukraine (Appendix 8 to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1328 of 21.12.2015) in the field of technical sciences.
The editor-in-chief of the journal and the chairman of the organizing committee of the conference is the honorary rector of NTU “KhPI”, advisor to the rector, chairman of the Academic Council of NTU “KhPI”, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Higher Education of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology, Honorary Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Leonid Leonidovych Tovazhnyansky.
The executive secretary of the journal and a member of the organizing committee of the conference is the head of the Department of Integrated Technologies, Processes and Devices, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kostyantyn Oleksandrovych Gorbunov.
At the conference, scientists can present their work during the work of the sections and publish in several scientific and problem areas:
- energy, energy conservation and resource conservation;
- energy technology of energy-intensive industries and heat-using installations;
- energy and environment, non-traditional energy, industrial ecology;
- thermophysics of high-temperature processes;
- modeling of industrial equipment processes;
- processes and devices of various industries;
- simulation modeling of complex technical systems;
- basic and critical technologies in mechanical engineering;
- automated control and information processing systems;
- hydrodynamics, gas dynamics, heat and mass exchange processes, special equipment;
- thermal processes and cryogenic medical equipment;
- electric power, power plant equipment and electricity transmission;
- other areas at the junction of various fields of knowledge.
Within the framework of the conference and in the journal’s publications, an analysis of the development of energy and the latest energy saving methods has been carried out for more than twenty years.
Every year, domestic and foreign scientists attend the conference, who highlight the most modern problems of industry and science.
During the work of the sections, reports are heard from candidates for scientific degrees and academic titles, and round tables are held on discussion issues.
