The Department of Natural Sciences provides teaching of the disciplines of the natural science cycle to foreign citizens who are preparing to continue their studies in higher educational institutions of Ukraine, such as: Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics,Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Economics, Biology, University Education.
Teachers of the department are guided by the principles of pedagogical system, accessibility, logical presentation of the subject and the repetition of the material, which contributes to the assimilation of the lexical, terminological, grammatical minimum in subjects and provides high-quality perception of the lecture and practical material with further training in the university. Activation of acquired knowledge, the formation of skills and abilities is achieved through the use of active methods of conducting classes, including using computer technologies.
Over the past years, the department has been developing and introducing innovative teaching methods into the educational process: group research projects, role-playing games, situational tasks, elements of communicative teaching in the natural sciences.
Students receive the necessary level of knowledge in the natural sciences in the course of study at the Department of Natural Sciences and have the opportunity to enroll in any higher educational institutions of Ukraine for further study without exams, as well as take part in various research, educational, business projects and programs of Ukraine.
