Specialty 133 – “Sectoral Engineering”.

Specialization “Automated Design of All Terrain Vehicles”.

Graduates are awarded the qualification:

  • Bachelor of Sectoral Engineering  4 years of study;
  • Master of Sectoral Engineering 5,4 or 5,9 years of study.
Research work of students of the department

A specialist who has received higher education in this specialty has knowledge and skills in the field of modern information technology (IT); prepared for design, organizational, operational, testing and research activities in the field of production of tracked and wheeled vehicles (TWV) for both special (military) and national economic purposes.

During training specialist receives:

  • deep general theoretical fundamental and applied engineering training;
  • knowledge and skills in working with modern software products and technologies, in the use of modern computer technology for аutomated design of systems, engineering calculations and in working with information;
  • knowledge and skills in the field of modern specialized methods of calculation and design of units and assemblies of tracked and wheeled vehicles, as well as the machine as a whole.

The acquired knowledge and qualifications of a mechanical engineer allow a specialist:

  • to independently solve design problems using powerful аutomated design systems;
  • to draw up technical specifications and design parts, assemblies, aggregates and tracked and wheeled vehicles as a whole;
  • to generalize the experience of operating tracked and wheeled vehicles, to detect design defects and deviations from technical requirements;
  • to develop programs and methods for testing tracked and wheeled vehicles and units in laboratory and field conditions, as well as to develop equipment and test benches;
  • organize competent operation, diagnostics and repair of tracked and wheeled vehicles both in the national economy and in the army.
