Artistic forging
The Department of Computer Modeling and Integrated Forming Technologies trains students who are interested in artistic processing of metals, in particular artistic forging. The department has a blacksmith workshop (the laboratory) with basic equipment for the production of blacksmith products and a set of necessary tools. Classes are conducted by qualified specialists in this area. Students have the opportunity to learn in practice the techniques of making artistic products, going through the creative path from the idea to its realization in metal, as well as to learn from recognized masters of blacksmithing. The modern level of specialists training at the department allows in the future to meet the requirements for specialists in the labor market, to get decent and creative work at private enterprises in the manufacture of interior elements, architectural and garden ensembles and much more as a master and designer, and also open a business in this direction. For students of the Department of Computer Modeling and Integrated Forming Technologies, this training is provided as part of their studies at the Department and is free of charge. For all others (not students of the department) regarding enrollment in the art forging group, all questions should be addressed to the department (Contacts). |
