He was born on August 14 in the Urals. In 1960 he graduated with honors from the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute, majoring in “Machines and technology of metal forming”. In 1969 he defended his PhD thesis. In 1989 he defended his doctoral thesis. Professor of the Department of Metal Forming of NTU “KhPI” Laureate of the State Prize in the field of science and technology, Honored Inventor of Ukraine. Deputy Head of the Central Laboratory of the Kharkov State Enterprise “Plant named after V.A. Malyshev”. Honorary Diesel Engineer. Author of 320 scientific papers, including 4 monographs, 114 copyright certificates for inventions, 78 of which have been introduced into production with a significant economic effect. Prepared five candidates of sciences. Conducts teaching activities in the field of hot stamping and forging. A feature of the scientific developments of Doctor of Engineering Sciences. V.K. Lobanov is an organic combination of theoretical and technological research with subsequent industrial implementation. The results of scientific research and methodological recommendations of V.K. Lobanov are used in many industries of Ukraine, CIS countries, India, Germany and Japan. The works were exhibited, awarded with diplomas and medals. Information about V.K. Lobanov is included in the book “Sciences made Kharkiv region famous”.

Zhuravlev Vsevolod Nikolaevich, Senior Lecturer of Department, Candidate of Engineering Sciences
He was born on May 15 in Belgorod. In 1959 he graduated from the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Machinery and Technology of Metal Forming. After graduating from the institute, he was sent to the Plant named after Malyshev. He began his career as an adjuster in a stamping shop, a designer in a forging shop, team leader, head of the design bureau of shop 510 (forging and stamping shop), deputy. early pre-production workshops. In 1985, he went to work at the Leningrad branch of VNITI, later on at KhNTK OJSC. In 1983 he defended his PhD thesis on the job. Author of more than 25 scientific papers, including 11 copyright certificates for inventions, all inventions have been introduced into production with a significant economic effect. Repeated participant exibitions, laureate of the State Prize in 1985. He has been teaching at the Department of Metal Forming since 2000.

Kirillov Gennady Ivanovich, Associate Professor of Department, Candidate of Engineering Sciences
He was born on October 22 in the Vladimir region. In 1954, he graduated with honors from the Kolchugino Technical School of Non-Ferrous Metals with a degree in rolling production. From 1954 to 1957 he worked in Leningrad as a foreman. He served in the ranks of the SA. In 1962 he graduated with honors from the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Machinery and Technology of Metal Forming, after which he worked as a die designer in the forge shop of the Plant named after Malyshev. In 1969 he defended his PhD thesis and worked as a senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Metal Forming. From 1973 to 1976 he was the dean of the preparatory faculty for the education of foreign citizens. From 1977 to 1980 he worked as an educational adviser at the University of Oriente (Cuba). Personally acquainted with the President of Cuba, Raul Castro. He published over 30 works in the field of theory and technology of extrusion. He was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Minister of the USSR, the medal of the Labor Veteran.

Evstratov Vitaliy Alekseevich, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor of Department, Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences
He was born on January 16 in Kharkov. In 1956 he graduated with honors from the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Machinery and Technology of Metal Forming. After the institute, he was left at the Department of Metal Forming for teaching. In 1958-60. at the Kharkov plant of transport engineering named after Malyshev completed a two-year internship. Since 1960 and still works at the National Technical University “Kharkov Polytechnic Institute”. In 1966 he defended his PhD thesis at KhPI. In 1988, at the Moscow Higher Technical School named after Bauman defended his doctoral thesis. Head of the Department of Metal Forming (1985-2006). Chairman of the educational-methodical association of the specialty “Machines and technologies for metal forming” universities of Ukraine. Deputy Chairman of the Methodological Council of NTU “KhPI” (1966-1996). Member of doctoral special councils Д02.27.06 (Kharkiv, KhAI) and Д28.01.02 (Kramatorsk, DSMA), chairman of the candidate special council К02.09.03 (Kharkiv, NTU “KhPI”). Member of the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine (1998-2001). Active member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (since 1992). In 1994, under the international program “Project of Industrial cooperation between Canada and Ukraine”, he trained for two months at the universities of Canada (Toronto, Hamilton, Waterloo). He created a scientific school for researching the technological processes of cold and semi-hot extrusion and forging, designing highly resistant dies and optimizing their design. He published a textbook and a problem book “Theory of metal forming”, awarded the gold medal. For high performance in pedagogical and scientific work he was awarded gold, silver and three bronze medals. Awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples. Prepared 20 candidates of technical sciences. He has published more than 200 scientific papers, including four monographs. He has 35 copyright certificates. Developed and read 17 lecture courses. Organizer of educational and methodical association (UMOS). He developed new forms of education and development of students, set out in the programs “Pedagogical design” and “Resonant education”, achieved their high practical efficiency. Plesnetsov Sergey Yurievich, post-graduate student, assistant of Department
He was born on December 22, 1988 in Kharkov. In 2005, he entered the NTU “KhPI” on the specialty “Equipment for the processing of metals by pressure”. During his studies, he took part in competitions of scientific works in two areas: “Processing of materials in mechanical engineering” – 1st place (Kremenchug-2010) and “Metallurgy” (Kramatorsk) – 2nd place. Since 2006, he took part in the implementation contractual research work. In 2011, he defended his thesis research work with honors and received the qualification “Master of Engineering Mechanics”. In 2011, he entered graduate course. The title of thesis is “Analysis of the shape change of bent profiles with bending elements by 180 degrees.” Author of more than 20 scientific and technical publications in specialized publications. He has the following certificates in CAD systems with the right to teach: KOMPAS-3D, ProEngineer, Dform. Since 2011, he has been teaching CAD for technological processes in metal forming at the Department of Metal Forming.
