Head of the Department Nina Ivanovna Nagaytseva, graduated in Philology from the Rostov-on-Don State University. In 1985 she successfully defended her dissertation on “Comparison of scientific and official language with regard to the topic-comment relation”. Dr. Nagaitseva is Candidate of Philological Sciences. In 1991 she was awarded the associate professor degree, and in 2004, the professor degree at NTU “KhPI”. Dr. Nagaitseva taught at the University of Madagascar (Democratic Republic of Madagascar) and gave lectures at the University of Vienna and the University of Klagenfurt (Austria). In 2009 she successfully defended her dissertation on “Forming of ecological competence of future specialists of engineers of civil defence”.
