On September 13-15, 2023, the 21st International Conference on Building Materials 21.Ibausil was held in the city of Weimar (Germany), which is held every three years by the F. A. Finger-Institut für Baustoffkunde of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
Thanks to the creation of the Ibausil International Conference on Building Materials in 1964, an international forum for the exchange of scientific ideas was created. One of the aims of the conference has always been to unite science and construction practice in the geographical center of Europe.
As in previous years, the main emphasis of the reports was made on the problems of development and application of building materials, accompanied by an exhibition of construction products and technologies.
The head of the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Sci.D., Alla Korogodska and professors of the Department of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass and Enamels Technology, Sci.D., Prof. Halyna Shabanova and Sci.D., Ass. Prof. Viktoriia Taranenkova V.V. participated in the conference from NTU “KhPI”.

From June 1 to June 21, an examination session is held.

On February 23, NTU Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute held an Open Day and Science is FUN Festival at the University Sports Complex. The event was attended by lecturers of the General and Inorganic Chemistry Department together with the Head of Department prof. Bulavin V.I. Senior Lecturer Kramarenko A.V. together with the student V. Bondarev demonstrated interesting chemical experiments and explained to everyone the properties of different substances, and associate professor Korohodska A.M. conducted rapid chemistry testing for high school students, which was attended by 6 11th grade students.
