Certification of educational components from IT-Cluster

Certified Course “Fundamentals of Web Technologies” Introduced by Senior Lecturer Anton Lysenko

Anton Lysenko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Project Management in Information Technologies, has successfully completed all stages of preparation and implementation to certify the course “Fundamentals of Web Technologies” through Kharkiv IT Cluster’s IT Discipline Certification System. As a result, he was awarded an official certificate confirming the course’s compliance with current industry standards.

This certification is part of the ongoing project “IT Discipline Certification System”, implemented by Kharkiv IT Cluster with the support of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA). The initiative involves collaboration among more than 25 IT companies, experts from 11 universities in Kharkiv, and representatives from NAQA.

The uniqueness of the project lies in the review, modernization, and practical implementation of IT courses by experts from the tech industry. Certified disciplines undergo a thorough assessment process, ensuring their relevance and alignment with market demands.

What the Certification Means

The certified “Fundamentals of Web Technologies” course now fully aligns with modern IT industry standards. It provides students with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in:

  • Front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS and frameworks)

  • Basic principles of back-end development

  • Web project creation and deployment

  • Understanding the future trends in web technologies and internet-based solutions
