The competition was attended by 112 schoolchildren aged 9 to 16 years from 37 schools in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. They were divided into the following ages:
– From 15 to 16 years,
– From 13 to 14 years,
– From 10 to 12 years.
Competition for Safety of Living included the following five nominations:
– Information dangers in society;
– The danger in public places;
– Natural, technological and transport risk. The works were presented in the form of essays and drawings.

The organizing committee announced the winners by age group in each category, in each of the which it was determined by the three prizes. The total number of winners was 39 people.
The greatest the number of teachers, organizers have prepared these schools:
– Zolochіvska gіmnazіya №1 – 4 a winner,
– School № 94, 95 (m Kharkiv.) That Kegichіvsky lіtsey – 3 a winner,
– School № 41, 17, 91, 44 (Kharkiv.) – 2 a winner.
Festive awarding the winners with diplomas and gifts was held at the scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Department “Occupational health and the environment,” NTU “KhPI” September 13, 2013.

At the International Conference on the Safety of Living in December 2013 at NTU “KPI” were awarded diplomas of teachers-organizers of the winners.
