On December 11–12, 2023, the Department of Thermal Engineering and Energy-Efficient Technologies held the online defense of master’s theses.
Under the leadership of Dr. O.I. Tarasov, Professor of the Department of Turbomachinery at NTU “KhPI”, 18 graduates of full-time and part-time programs presented their research to the State Attestation Committee.
This year, the theses covered a wide range of topics within the 144 – Thermal Power Engineering specialty, including:

Energy efficiency at thermal power plants and large industrial facilities such as metallurgical and melting furnaces, steam and hot-water boilers;

Municipal energy solutions, with a particular focus on alternative energy sources.
All works were completed to a high standard, and the students received positive evaluations for their research and professional approach.
