Meeting of the Student Scientific Club

On May 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the student scientific club “Thermal Power Engineering and Energy Efficiency” was held, dedicated to the topic “Energy Carrier Production: Modern Approaches and Prospects.”

The event brought together active students and academic staff of the Department of Thermal Engineering and Energy-Efficient Technologies.
The meeting was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Oleh Peresiolkov, with Assoc. Prof. Oleksandr Tarasenko and Assoc. Prof. Olena Kruhliakova also taking part in the discussion.

Students examined issues related to the efficiency of traditional and renewable energy sources, the prospects of bioenergy and synthetic fuels, and the implementation of innovative technologies in the heat and power sector. The presentations were complemented by practical examples and professional discussion.

Such meetings serve as an important platform for developing the professional competence of future thermal power engineers, fostering their research thinking, and engaging them in addressing real-world challenges of the energy industry.
