Chair for TMM and CAD carries out preparation of bachelors, specialists and masters, in the direction of “Computer Science”, specialty “Computer Science and Information Technology” (specialization “Computer modeling of technical systems”). Graduates are given the following qualifications:
- “Bachelor of Computer Science” – 4 years of study
- “Engineer – System Analyst” – 5.5 years of study
- “Master – Computer Systems Analyst” – 5.5 years of study
The complex of studied disciplines provides a fundamental technical education and skills in working with modern software products and technologies.Our graduates are experts who have the ability to evaluate characteristics of the object at different stages of their lifecycle with a modern software systems.
This specialty is relatively “young”.Its emergence and development is associated with the widespread introduction of computer technologies.In today’s world, the demand and relevance of the profession is determined by its universality, applicability and prevalence.Also important is the presence of a similar or very similar among the prestigious professions in the developed countries of the world.The closest analogue of the specialty “Information technologies of design and computer modeling” is «Structural engineer» (wage is the average: US – $ 65,000 per year, UK – £ 30,000 per year).
Teaching involves: 8 doctors of science and professors, 15 candidates of science and associate professors.Audiences for training are equipped with personal computers with licensed software.There is also the possibility of free testing by results of which students can receive certificates of certified users of software products.The following licensed products are used:
