Monitoring the quality of education is a system of consistent and systematic measures carried out in order to identify and track trends in the development of the quality of education in an educational institution, establish the compliance of the actual results of educational activities with its stated goals, as well as assess the degree, direction and causes of deviations from the goals.
Monitoring is carried out in accordance with the following principles:
➣ systematicity and consistency;
➣ expediency;
➣ transparency of monitoring procedures and openness;
➣ security of personal data;
➣ objectivity of obtaining and analyzing information during monitoring;
➣ responsible attitude to their activities of entities participating in the preparation and conduct of monitoring.
Monitoring of the quality of education at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” takes place at three levels:
➣ the level of the department where the educational program is implemented
➣ the level of the educational and scientific institute
➣ the level of the university (implemented by the Department of Quality Assurance of Educational Activities of NTU “KhPI”)
