The material resources of the department include:

This equipment allows for comprehensive studies of raw materials, suspensions, sintered materials, and more.
The department also houses a unique Mineralogical Museum.
Research activities are supported by modern specialized equipment located in the department’s affiliate branches – the A.S. Berezhnoi Ukrainian Research Institute of Refractories and the Ukrainian Institute of Ceramology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Computers are extensively used in research. The department’s computer fleet includes 24 computers, most of which are connected to the university’s network and have access to the global Internet.
Each year, the department’s facilities are expanded with new, modern equipment for scientific, administrative, and educational activities.
Recently, various enterprises and organizations in Ukraine have provided charitable assistance to the department, including computer donations, as well as repair and maintenance of equipment.
