At our Department of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass and Enamels, within this specialty, training is provided in a modern and always in-demand educational program:
“Ceramic, Composite, Glass and Nanomaterials for Engineering, Construction, Medicine and Art Design”
Training is carried out in both traditional and innovative areas, including:
- functional composite and ceramic, refractory, binder, and glass materials for space technology, aviation, metallurgy, the construction industry, electronics, energy, and mechanical engineering;
- bioceramics and bioglasses for medicine (implants for dentistry and orthopedics);
- multifunctional coatings for ceramics and protection of metals against corrosion;
- artistic enamels, mosaic smalt, and synthetic gemstones for jewelry purposes;
- nanomaterials and single crystals for high technologies and priority areas of science and engineering.
Forms of study:
- Bachelor’s degree — 4 years (full-time and part-time study)
- Master’s degree — 1.4 years (full-time and part-time study)
- Master’s degree — 1.9 years (full-time and part-time study)
