On March 26, the department held a Kahoot quiz during the holidays with Polytech.
Associate Professor Yevgen Kozlov conducted a quiz entitled “Translation of ambiguous words.” Ambiguous words have several translation equivalents corresponding to the number of their meanings (lexical-semantic variants). One of the most difficult aspects of translating lexical elements is choosing one lexical element of the target language from a number of synonyms. The quiz tasks were related to these aspects.
