DIAGNOSTIC AND FORECASTING OF THE WEAR RESISTANCE OF SLIDING BEARINGS OF ROLLING EQUIPMENT

 

Brief description of performed works

     The following problems have been solved in relation to the problem of diagnostics of rolling equipment sliding bearings:

  • theoretical calculations of the wear resistance of roller heads were performed;
  • experimental studies of the wear of roller bearings were carried out.

     A calculation-experimental method for determining the wear of the sliding shaft was developed based on the two-factor wear model (contact pressure – sliding speed) with the determination of wear resistance parameters.

     Experimental studies of sliding bearings wear were carried out with the use of developed wear sensors with automatic notification of the approaching critical state of the liner and the onset of an emergency situation.
