METHODS OF ESTIMATING THE REMAINING RESOURCE OF LARGELY MODULE GEAR WHEELS
Brief description of performed works
On the problem of estimating the residual resource of gears with large modules, the following tasks were solved:
- analytical calculations of the reliability of gear wheels were performed;
- experimental studies of wheel life loss were conducted.
Analytical calculations of the reliability of gear wheels are performed based on resistance to fatigue and fatigue failure, experimental studies of resource loss are based on determining the damageability of the gear material by measuring hardness.
The method of estimating the residual resource of gear wheels with large modules of single execution was implemented at PJSC “Zaporizhstal” to extend the service life of the intermediate gear of the drive gear of vertical rolls of slabbing-1150 state and reduce the risks associated with emergency situations due to its destruction.
