On December 1, 2025, the Department of Electrical Insulation and Cable Engineering held a career orientation meeting with students of the Municipal Institution “Kharkiv Lyceum No. 73” of the Kharkiv City Council with the participation of a representative of the PJSC “Pivdenkabel” plant. During the meeting, students learned about modern areas of training at NTU “KhPI”, the features of the specialty, employment opportunities and prospects for work at one of the leading cable enterprises in Ukraine.
The representative of “Pivdenkabel” outlined the current demands of the cable industry, which allowed students to better understand the practical application of knowledge that can be obtained at the Department of Electrical Insulation and Cable Engineering.
The event contributed to the formation of professional interest of high school students, provided answers to their questions and emphasized the importance of engineering specialties for the development of modern energy and critical infrastructure.
