On February 13, 2026, lecturers of the Computer Modeling and Integrated Technologies (KMIT) Department held a large-scale career guidance event for students and faculty of the Poltava Polytechnic Professional College, a Separated Structural Unit of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute,” Kharkiv Automotive Professional College, and O.O. Morozov Kharkiv Mechanical and Technological Professional College.

The discussion focused on the transformation of modern industry and the role of a new-generation specialist proficient in methods of computer modeling of complex objects and systems. The participants explored the implementation of artificial intelligence for optimizing production processes, the use of digital twins in mechanical engineering and equipment operations, and the integration of advanced design technologies into the real sector of the economy.

An important part of the meeting was dedicated to explaining the specifics of the 2026 admission campaign. Representatives of the department provided detailed information on admission conditions for college graduates, in particular the opportunity to study within a reduced period based on a Professional Junior Bachelor’s diploma. Prospective applicants received comprehensive guidance on the required registration steps, the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT), and the advantages of choosing KMIT Department educational programs, which combine a solid engineering foundation with cutting-edge digital tools.
