On January 19, 2026, KMIT Department faculty held an online dialogue with high school students from Kharkiv Lyceum No. 140. The conversation centered on the development of modern engineering, which today is based on the integration of IT technologies into materials processing. Prospective students received comprehensive information about the advantages of studying at NTU “KhPI”, particularly the unique opportunities offered by the CMIT Department in computer modeling.
Faculty members discussed student research clubs and hands-on projects that students join from their first year, building their professional background from the start. The lyceum students’ active participation and questions about the program demonstrated that today’s youth see their future in high-tech fields that are crucial for the country’s reconstruction.
