Master’s degree, Class of 2021.

I work in the drilling division of the Naftogaz company as an electronics engineer. The division is focused on the development and maintenance of gas condensate fields in our country. Drilling is a complex technological process that requires constant investment in modern equipment to improve the quality and speed of the work performed. The main production units are powered by electric motors with a capacity of over 1 MW and are controlled by variable frequency drives. My job involves servicing the components of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) of the VFDs.

Pavlov Serhii.

Master’s degree, Class of 2022.

I work in the office of a major management company (AppCake). My duties include ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment (up to a hundred computers and other related hardware, including accounting systems).
The main tasks involve maintaining emergency power sources, including engine-based generators and individual UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems. I ensure information security, protection against hacking attacks, and spam. Additionally, I perform routine maintenance of computers and other office equipment.

During my studies at NTU “KhPI” in the specialty 171 “Electronics,” I acquired comprehensive theoretical foundations and practical skills that helped me land, without hesitation, my dream job. For over two years now, I have had the opportunity to work in the advanced IT sector.

The Department of Industrial and Biomedical Electronics conducts research and development in the field of electronic systems and devices used in industry, medicine, energy, and many other sectors.

Learning has been and continues to be very engaging and insightful. The instructors are well-versed in their fields and help students grasp complex materials. Moreover, the department provides all the conditions necessary for conducting scientific research and practical work with electronic systems.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in various scientific conferences and projects, which allows them to gain additional knowledge and practical experience.

Additionally, the department has a supportive and friendly team that is always ready to assist and support students in any life situations.

Taking everything into account, I can highly recommend the Department of “Industrial and Biomedical Electronics” at NTU “KhPI” to anyone interested in electronics, modern digital technologies, programming, and who wishes to receive quality education and practical experience in this field.

“I work at the company ‘Eolan.’ It is an international firm specializing in contract electronics manufacturing. The range of devices produced is very broad – from simple and moderately complex household items to high-precision and ultra-complex data transmission and reception devices. We collaborate with renowned brand manufacturers. Despite the factory being located in Tallinn, among the engineering and management staff, there are representatives from many nations and countries across Europe. The working language is English.”
