G3 Electrical Engineering is a leading speciality at NTU “KhPI”!

It is impossible to imagine the modern world without electricity, and therefore without specialists who know how to design, operate and modernise energy systems of any scale. That is why the G3 Electrical Engineering specialty remains one of the key ones for the development of industry, transport, telecommunications and energy security of the country. Students of this speciality receive thorough engineering training, learn to work with modern technologies, digital control systems, renewable energy sources and high-voltage equipment.

Graduating departments play an important role in the training of electrical engineers, among which the Department of Electric Power Transmission at NTU ‘KhPI’ plays a special role. Here, students study disciplines related to the design and operation of power lines, substations and automation.

NTU “KhPI” is a powerful centre of technical education in Ukraine, where, according to the data as of 1 October 2025, there are 11,308 students studying for higher education in 46 specialities.

Among this wide range of fields, the leader in terms of the number of students is G3 “Electrical Engineering”.
