Podcast “From School Student to IT Specialist”: Inspiring the Next Generation of Tech Talent

On April 2, 2025, the Department of Project Management in Information Technologies hosted a motivational podcast titled “From School Student to IT Specialist”. The event became a true source of inspiration for young people taking their first steps into the world of digital technologies.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, participants explored current trends in the IT industry, learned about the most in-demand tech careers in Ukraine and beyond, and discovered how to begin preparing today for admission to top technical universities. The podcast also offered practical advice on choosing the right direction — whether it’s programming, design, artificial intelligence, or another exciting field.

Students gained valuable insights into:

the most sought-after IT professions on the job market;
what skills and technologies are worth mastering now;
how to gain early experience through real projects, competitions, and internships;
how to build a strong portfolio and confidently take the first career steps.

A highlight of the event was the stories shared by current students of the department who are already working in well-known IT companies. They spoke about how they landed their first internships, started building portfolios while still in school, and how they now successfully combine university studies with real-world projects.
