The Department of Project Management in Information Technology consistently implements its international development strategy aimed at integration into the European and global educational and research space, improving the quality of education, and expanding academic mobility opportunities.
A key instrument of international cooperation is participation in the Erasmus+ programme (KA1 – Learning Mobility), which enables students to study at partner universities within the European Union and supports the professional development of academic staff.
During the 2024–2026 academic years, students of the Department undertake study mobility at leading technical and research universities in Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and Slovakia. A joint Bachelor’s degree programme with a European partner institution is being implemented, expanding opportunities for international academic training and fostering a multicultural educational environment.
As part of expanding the geography of international cooperation in the 2024–2025 academic years, a partnership was established with Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (Baku). The cooperation includes academic mobility, joint research in digitalisation and project management, and the organisation of international scientific and academic events.
The Department’s international activities are focused on:
- implementing European educational standards;
- integrating modern IT project management approaches into the curriculum;
- developing students’ intercultural and professional competencies;
- enhancing graduates’ competitiveness in the global labour market.
The Department continues to expand its international partnerships and actively participates in international educational and research initiatives to foster a modern, globally oriented academic environment.
