Career Guidance Meeting with School Students at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 80

On March 9, 2026, a career guidance event was held in the underground school at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 80 for 10th-grade students. The event was aimed at introducing high school students to modern educational opportunities and prospects for obtaining an IT education.

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to learn more about specialties that are currently in high demand in the labor market, particularly in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence, data analysis, and IT project management. The school students were also informed about the key knowledge, skills, and competencies required for successful professional development in the IT sector.

The event was attended by Associate Professor of the Department of Project Management in Information Technologies, Iryna Shuba, who introduced the students to the specifics of studying in the field of project management and digital technologies. She also spoke about opportunities available to students, including participation in research projects, startup initiatives, internships with partner companies, and international educational programs.

Live interaction became an important part of the meeting. Students actively asked questions about the conditions for university admission, specifics of the educational process, opportunities for academic mobility, participation in student projects, and employment prospects after graduation.

The practical part of the event attracted special interest from the students. Participants had the opportunity to try VR headsets, immerse themselves in a virtual environment, and see firsthand how modern digital technologies are used in education and professional activities. This interactive format helped them better understand the potential of innovative technologies and sparked strong interest in the IT field.

The meeting took place in a warm, friendly, and dynamic atmosphere. Such career guidance events are extremely important for high school students, as they help young people better understand their interests, evaluate the prospects of different professions, and make informed decisions about their future educational and professional paths.

Holding such meetings contributes to strengthening cooperation between secondary schools and higher education institutions, promoting technical and IT specialties among young people, and shaping the future generation of professionals.
