The best athletes of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies for 2025 have been determined!

Despite objective difficulties, 2025 will still be remembered for its memorable events thanks to the perseverance, courage and desire to win of our athletes!

Throughout the year, our students represented our educational and scientific institute and university at all-Ukrainian competitions – national Cups, Championships, all-Ukrainian tournaments, as well as at European and world sports arenas!

Polytechnic athletes won 46 medals at national competitions (16 gold, 16 silver, 14 bronze) and 26 medals at international competitions (9 gold, 7 silver, 10 bronze).

This year’s victories were achieved in sports such as arm wrestling, badminton, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, karate, athletics, powerlifting, rock climbing, and others.

And on the eve of the new year, we are summarising the results and determining the best!

After carefully reviewing the achievements of our students this year, the management of the Department of Physical Education, together with the management of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, has determined the top three athletes of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies!

Third place in this ranking went to Ruslan Prokopov, a third-year student majoring in Physical Culture and Sports, Master of Sports of Ukraine in freestyle wrestling, prize-winner of an international tournament, prize-winner of the Ukrainian Championship, and champion of Kyiv!

Second place went to Sofia Lavrova, a third-year student majoring in Physical Education and Sports, Master of Sports of Ukraine in badminton, winner of a series of European tournaments, Champion of Ukraine, and winner of the Ukrainian Cup!

And the best athlete of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports in 2025 was Viktor Borogan, a third-year student majoring in Physical Education and Sports, Master of Sports of Ukraine in freestyle wrestling, prize-winner of the European Championship, winner and prize-winner of international tournaments, prize-winner of the Ukrainian Championship!

Congratulations to all our athletes and their coaches on their outstanding achievements in the year that is coming to an end! We wish you a Happy New Year! May it bring you new strength, new records and brilliant victories, good health, inspiration, harmony and peace! We wish you to achieve your highest goals, and may each new day bring you joy, confidence in tomorrow and the fulfilment of your deepest dreams!
