As part of the XXXIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Technologies: Science, Engineering, Technology, Education, Health” (MicroCAD-2026), a subsection meeting dedicated to current issues in thermal engineering, energy efficiency, and engineering technologies was held. The meeting was chaired by the head of the subsection, Head of the Department of Thermal Engineering and Energy Efficient Technologies, Prof. M.P. Kundenko. Academic staff, researchers, postgraduate students, and students participated in the subsection meeting.
During the meeting, participants discussed current challenges related to improving the energy efficiency of industrial and municipal systems, the implementation of modern thermal engineering solutions, the digitalization of engineering processes, and the use of alternative energy sources.
The subsection meeting concluded with an active discussion of the presented reports, as well as an exchange of scientific ideas and professional experience. Such events contribute to the development of scientific cooperation, the involvement of young researchers in scientific activities, and the dissemination of modern engineering solutions in the fields of energy and energy efficiency.
