On 28 January 2026, an online meeting was held between lecturers of the Department of Thermal Engineering and Energy-Efficient Technologies and the Department of Refrigeration, Cryogenic and Climate Engineering and students of general secondary education institutions of the Kehychivka District, Kharkiv Region.
In an accessible and interactive format, the participants were introduced to the specifics of the respective specialisations, study opportunities at NTU “KhPI”, career prospects, as well as the relevance of the thermal power engineering profession in the context of current challenges in the energy sector. During the meeting, school students learned about the main areas of activity of the departments, educational programmes, and modern technologies in the fields of thermal engineering, refrigeration engineering, and energy efficiency.
Such events are an important element of career guidance activities aimed at motivating students and promoting engineering and technical specialisations among secondary school graduates.
