From December 2023 to June 2024, the International Student Professional Creative Competition “Agrarian Sciences and Food” was held at Mykolaiv National Agrarian University.
The purpose of the competition is to support Ukraine’s integration into the global educational space, strengthen international cooperation, identify and encourage the most talented students, and foster a creative generation of young researchers in agrarian science who are competitive on the international labour market.
The competition was held in the following areas:
• Agronomy
• Technology of production and processing of livestock products
• Agroengineering
A total of 354 projects were submitted by Ukrainian and international higher education institutions, including universities from Poland, Latvia, the USA, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and others.
On June 11–12, 2024, final conferences were held for each area, during which 168 students were selected as winners (40 in Agronomy, 29 in Livestock Technology, 99 in Agroengineering).
Our department actively participated in the competition, and we proudly congratulate our awardees:
• Pavlo Zubenko (group E-523) – Second Degree Diploma, project: “Development of a Mini Thermal Power Plant Based on a Dual-Fuel Diesel Engine,” supervisor: Professor M. P. Kundenko, Head of the Department.
• Maksym Borodai (group E-522sa) – Third Degree Diploma, project: “Investigation of Technological Processes in Biogas Plants,” supervisor: Professor M. P. Kundenko, Head of the Department.
