In accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” and Order No. 37 OD dated January 26, 2026, “On the Merger of Departments,” the Department of Refrigeration, Cryogenic and Climate Engineering is joining the Department of Heat Engineering and Energy-Efficient Technologies.
During the spring semester, a transitional period will take place, involving the gradual integration of educational, research, and organizational processes. For students, the educational process will continue as usual — all courses and academic commitments will proceed in accordance with the approved curricula.
The merger marks a new stage of development, bringing together the experience and traditions of two strong academic teams.
