On 14 February 2025, a STEM exhibition dedicated to the Day of Women and Girls in Science was held in the KhNATOB shelter .
It was attended by scientists from 24 higher education institutions of the city, including the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”. Visitors of the event could get acquainted with the scientific and technical developments of female employees of Kharkiv higher education institutions, which were presented at various locations: the STEM exhibition zone, the humanities presentation zone, the sports and recreation zone, the safety and security zone, the artistic specialities zone, and the cultural events zone.
The representative of the Department of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, Catalysis and Ecology, Associate Professor Svitlana Avina, demonstrated the products and products of the departments of the Educational and Research Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering. She held a masterclass on determining the starch content of food products. Students from Kharkiv lyceums and gymnasiums from all districts of Kharkiv who attended the event were able to take part in the masterclass and receive gifts.
