On September 19, teachers from NTU “KhPI” visited Reshetylivka Lyceum in Poltava region to meet with future students and their teachers. Our Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering was represented by Dmytro Mykolayovych Deineka, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, Catalysis and Ecology. During the visit, Dmytro Mykolayovych conducted fascinating visual experiments for students in grades 6–11, demonstrating the amazing world of chemistry. Schoolchildren had the opportunity to see how science comes to life and ask questions about its application in real life. In addition, the associate professor talked with lyceum students about the advantages of studying at NTU “KhPI”, the features of admission and prospects after graduation. He emphasized that specialties related to chemical technology are in great demand both in Ukraine and abroad, and NTU “KhPI” graduates are successfully employed in leading companies. This trip was a great opportunity for high school students to learn more about studying at NTU “KhPI” and get answers to all their questions from an experienced specialist. We hope that this visit inspired many students to choose a career in chemistry and engineering.
