The Department of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, Catalysis and Ecology of NTU “KhPI” held a Hospitality Day, which took place on January 27, 2026 Online for students of lyceums and gymnasiums. Associate Professor Avina S.I. held a scientific and educational lecture “Inorganic Substances in the Life of Man and the Country”. The lecture is dedicated to the role of inorganic substances in everyday human life and the development of the modern state. The main groups of inorganic compounds and their significance in nature, medicine, industry, energy and ecology were considered. Special attention was paid to the influence of minerals and inorganic materials on health, chemical technologies, construction, fertilizer production, water purification and the creation of new materials.
