On May 8, 2026, the Reshetyliv Lyceum named after I.L. Oliynyk of the Poltava region hosted special guests. Representatives of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” arranged a real science festival for students – a Scientific Picnic.
The Department of Chemical Technologies of Inorganic Substances, Catalysis and Ecology was vividly presented by Associate Professor Svitlana Avina. Instead of boring formulas from textbooks, schoolchildren plunged into the world of real experiments!
Lyceum students became scientific detectives for several hours. They conducted express soil analysis and calculated its nutrients. They determined the pH level of mysterious solutions using color indicators. They conducted amazing chemical experiments that took their breath away!
Now lyceum students know for sure: chemistry is not about memorization, it is about understanding the universe around us. It is amazing, spectacular and very promising!
