- Chemical technology of inorganic synthesis, sorbents and catalysts
They study technology:
- basic chemical products;
- industrial, noble and medical gases;
- catalysts, sorbents, absorbents and fillers;
- physicochemical methods for enhanced oil and natural gas production and transportation;
- mineral salts and reagents for the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Graduates master the most important technologies of basic chemistry:
- processing natural and associated petroleum gases, solid fuels to hydrogen and synthesis gas;
- production of ammonia, methanol and their derivative products;
- production of oxygen, nitrogen, argon by cryogenic air separation and membrane technologies;
- production of noble gases (helium, krypton, xenon).

Graduates receive fundamental knowledge in the field:
- catalytic and adsorption processes;
- technologies for the production and use of catalysts and adsorbents;
- study the processes of extraction and processing of gold-containing raw materials, recycling of platinum and non-ferrous metals;
- master plasma-chemical, cryogenic and membrane technologies.
