Scientific activity

The department’s research is aimed at developing new and improving existing technologies for basic chemical synthesis and catalytic processes, including in the field of environmental protection, environmental chemical technologies, and research in the field of nanotechnology and nanomaterials.

The department’s laboratory facilities allow staff and students to investigate chemical and mass transfer processes at pressures up to 30 MPa and temperatures up to 1000 °C.

The peculiarity of the department is the conduct of fundamental (state budget funding) and applied (at the expense of enterprises) research, which allows you to constantly be at the forefront of science and not lose touch with production.
